Terms of Service

1. What miscrape does
miscrape collects data that is publicly available on websites — for example product listings, prices, availability and product attributes — and turns it into files, reports and tools (together, the Service). It includes:
- Custom data collection: you describe a source and the fields you need, we confirm whether we can do it and at what price, then deliver the data once or on a schedule;
- Price Optimizer: a report that compares the prices of a car-parts shop on the rrr.lt marketplace with comparable public offers (same OEM number, same condition) and suggests new prices under rules the seller sets. It is offered through partners, such as Parduota.com, inside their own product, or directly by us as a price audit on request.
miscrape is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the websites it reads, including rrr.lt / OVOKO. Names of websites and marketplaces are used only to say which public data a report is about.
2. What we collect, and what we never do
- We only read pages that anyone can open without an account. We never log in to a website, use someone else's account, or collect content behind a login or a paywall.
- We do not collect personal data about private individuals as a product. If a public page contains such data, we leave it out unless the customer has shown us a lawful basis for it (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
- We cap how many requests we send to a site at the same time, so the sites we read are not burdened.
- We may refuse or stop any source at any time, including when the owner of a website asks us to (see For website owners).
3. Your responsibilities
When you ask us to collect data, or use data we deliver, you confirm that:
- you have a lawful purpose and will use the data lawfully, including data protection, competition, copyright and database laws that apply to you;
- you will not use the Service for anything listed in the Acceptable Use Policy;
- you are responsible for decisions you take with the data — for example, the prices you set. A Price Optimizer suggestion is a calculation, not advice, and is never applied to your shop by miscrape.
4. Accounts, partners and payment
Custom data collection is quoted per request; nothing is charged before you accept a quote. The Price Optimizer is sold by our partners, in their own product and currency (for example, Parduota.com points). The partner's terms govern that payment; miscrape does not receive your payment details. A price audit ordered directly from us is quoted per request, like custom data collection.
5. Accuracy and availability
Public websites change without notice. Data is collected "as is", as it appeared when it was read; it can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and a source can stop being available. We do our best to deliver accurate data but give no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted service.
6. Ownership
We do not claim ownership of third-party content. Facts such as prices and part numbers are delivered for your analysis; you must not republish third-party content (texts, photos, logos) we deliver unless you have the right to.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, miscrape is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost sales, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the Service for anyone who breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may stop using the Service at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes are announced on this site before they apply.
10. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [country — to be completed]. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Please contact us first — most questions are solved quickly. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's consumer redress portal.
