Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It lists what miscrape may not be used for. We review every custom source before we accept it, and we may refuse or stop any request.
Not allowed
- Collecting data behind a login, a paywall or any access control, or using anyone else's account;
- harvesting personal data of private individuals — for example email addresses, phone numbers or profiles — for marketing, spam, profiling or surveillance, or any collection without a lawful basis under the GDPR;
- collecting special categories of personal data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.) or data about children;
- copying a website's content (texts, photos, databases) to republish it as your own, or any other use that infringes copyright, database rights or trademarks;
- request volumes that could slow down, overload or harm a website;
- fraud, price-fixing or other anti-competitive coordination, and anything illegal under the law of the operator's country, the customer's country or the website's country;
- sources a website owner has asked us to stop collecting from (see For website owners).
