Privacy Policy
miscrape.com is run by [operator name — to be completed], an individual, [postal address — to be completed], [country — to be completed].
Contact: [contact email — to be completed] or the contact form.
This policy explains what personal data miscrape processes, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The controller is the operator named above.
1. Data we receive from you
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form: your name, email, company (optional) and message | To answer you and, if you ask for it, prepare a quote | Steps before a contract / legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)) |
| Price Optimizer: the shop link you enter, your pricing rules, the time and IP address of your consent, and a reference number from our partner | To run the scan you asked for and return the result to the partner | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Web server logs: IP address, time, page, browser | Security and fault finding | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
A partner that offers the Price Optimizer (such as Parduota.com) sends us only a reference number and the shop link — not your name, email or account details.
2. Data in the public pages we read
We collect business and product data (listings, prices, part numbers, shop names). We do not build profiles of private individuals. Where a public page contains personal data, we do not keep it unless a customer has shown a lawful basis; you can ask us to remove data about you at any time (section 7).
3. Cookies
miscrape.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The Price Optimizer window works with a one-time link instead of a login.
4. Who processes data for us
- OVHcloud — hosting; our server is in Germany (EU);
- Cloudflare — domain name service (DNS);
- scrape.do — the proxy service through which public web pages are fetched. It sees the addresses of the public pages we read, not data about you;
- the partner you use the Price Optimizer through, which receives the result of your scan.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers above are based in, or have sub-processors in, countries outside the EU. Where that applies, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or its Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Price Optimizer scans and their results: deleted automatically 90 days after the last change;
- contact-form messages: deleted 90 days after the last change, unless they lead to a contract, which is then kept as long as accounting law requires;
- web server logs: 14 days.
7. Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy in a portable format. Write to [contact email — to be completed] or use the contact form; we answer within one month. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our processing changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
